Day 1

Depart from the UK on the overnight flight to Johannesburg

Days 2 - 4

Connect with the onward flight to Bulawayo and transfer to stay for three nights at Camp Amalinda. Tucked away in the World Heritage Site of Matobo Hills, the thatched en-suite rooms are set into the huge granite boulders. There is a large swimming pool, library, bar, wine cellar and spa, and activities include game viewing by vehicle and on foot to track rhino, bird watching, horse-riding, elephant-back safaris and visits to Cecil Rhode’s tomb & the numerous Bushmen cave paintings.

Days 5 - 7

Drive to Hwange National Park to stay for three nights at Davison’s Camp. Situated deep inside the National Park this is a classic tented camp with the large rooms hidden underneath a forest of trees and looking over a waterhole. There is a lounge, dining room and open campfire area and in addition to viewing the game which frequents the waterhole, guests can enjoy morning and evening game drives as well as guided bush walks in this game-rich area

Days 8 - 10

Fly to Victoria Falls to stay for three nights at Elephant Camp. Just a ten minute drive from the Falls, this superb camp accommodates guests in luxurious tented suites, each with their private deck, outdoor shower and plunge pool. Overlooking a waterhole, the camp is also home to a herd of elephants, with guests able to enjoy elephant-back safaris and interaction with these mighty beasts.

Days 11 - 12

Fly to Bumi Hills to stay for two nights at Musango Safari Camp. The home of renowned Zimbabwean guide Steve Edwards, Musango is located on a remote island in the stunning Matusadona National Park. There are seven charming en-suite safari tents built under thatch, and a wide range of activities available ranging from game drives, walks & bird-watching, to boat cruises, fishing and visits to fossil sites.

Days 13 - 14

Fly to Mana Pools National Park to stay for two nights at Ruckomechi Camp. Nestled in a large grove of trees, this five thatched chalet camp overlooks the Zambezi River and has superb views of the distant mountains. There is a bar and lounge area as well as a plunge pool, and a diverse programme of game-viewing activities in the Mana Pools National Park, including 4x4 drives, boat trips, bush walks, canoeing and fishing.

Day 15

Fly to Victoria Falls and depart on the flight to Johannesburg. Connect with onward overnight flight to the UK.

Day 16

Arrive in the UK.
