Day 1

Overnight flight from London Heathrow to Cape Town.

Day 2 -4

Upon arrival in Cape Town pick up your hire car and make the short drive to Camps Bay Retreat for your three night stay on a bed and breakfast basis. Located within walking distance of Camp’s Bay beach in a private nature reserve is found stylish accommodation with four swimming pools, tennis court, spa and glorious sea views. Tucked away in the crook of a glen between the Lion’s Head and Table Mountain with magnificent views of the Atlantic, this luxury retreat offers all the amenities of Camps Bay and its golden beach with total seclusion. This boutique hotel offers just 15 rooms and suites in four acres of magnificent mountain scenery and cultivated garden, split between the wonderful Manor and the more modern Deck House & Villa, joined by a picturesque rope bridge.

Day 5 - 6

Today upon checkout you will make the scenic drive to beautiful Stellenbosch located in the magnificent Cape Winelands, for your two night stay at River Manor Boutique Hotel & Spa on a bed and breakfast basis. Comprising of two beautifully restored historic houses, now National Monuments, just minutes from the centre of this pretty town, the second oldest settlement in South Africa. Offering a selection of comfortable stylish rooms where colonial charm meets contemporary Africa, it’s the place to base yourself when touring historic Stellenbosch, its 100 or so wine estates, and the Western Cape. Not to mention the spacious country garden which is home to a full spa and two large swimming pools.

Day 7 - 8

Today make your six hour drive to the beautiful Plettenberg Bay located on the Garden Route for your two night stay at the Robberg Beach Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis. A collection of luxurious villas overlooking one of South Africa’s finest beaches and offering designer accommodation and a true beach experience. Enjoy sundowners on the rooftop deck of Robberg House and take in the glorious panoramic views of the ocean and Robberg Nature Reserve. Offering five luxury rooms, four luxury suites and one luxury view suite.

Day 9 - 10

Today you will make the scenic four hour drive along the coast to Amakhala Game Reserve for your two night stay at Leeuwenbosch Country House on a full board basis. Beautifully-restored and family-owned colonial house, with game drives, bushwalks, horse-riding, river cruises and canoeing available in a malaria-free environment. Run by the descendents of the original owners gives Leeuwenbosch Country House an extra historical charm. Be sure to relax in the beautiful indigenous gardens when not out on game drives.

Day 11

Drop the car off in Port Elizabeth today for your flight back to the UK via Johannesburg.
