Overnight flight from Heathrow to Cape Town

Days 2-4

Morning arrival. Take a private luxury transfer to One & Only Cape Town for a three night stay. This is based on a Bed & Breakfast option. Days 5-7

Your hire car will be delivered to the hotel this morning. Drive the short distance to the winelands village of Franschhoek, renowned for its beautiful setting and fine restaurants and bistros. Stay at The Last Word Franschhoek for three nights in a classic suite. Small and perfectly formed, this six bedroomed luxury hotel epitomises traditional Cape Huguenot style. Right in the heart of the village it is a short stroll from some of the best restaurants in the country. Each room is decorated in silks and velvets and each has its own private garden or patio. The ideal base from which to explore the beautiful countryside and great wineries of the Franschhoek valley.

Days 8-11

Today, drive north to the Cederberg for a four night stay at the award winning Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Retreat. A magical, award-winning luxury ecological reserve. With its stunning location among the sweeping landscape of the Great Karoo and the Cederberg Mountains, it is hardly surprising that it has been declared a South African Heritage Site. Surrounded by great plains, fantastic rock formations and thundering waterfalls, the reserve offers accommodation in cottages within the grounds and suites in the original manor house, as well as an exclusive family villa with its own hostess, chef and guide. While the surrounding game and range of activities are magnificent, so are the rock art sites – of which there are over 130.

Return the hire car to Cape Town prior to your overnight flight to Heathrow
