Day 2 - 5 |
Upon arrival you will be transferred to Simbambili. Located in the northeastern corner of the renowned Sabi Sands, the five-star Simbambili
Game Lodge gets the boutique safari experience spot on. And we’re talking serious animal watching territory. Not only does the camp overlook a busy watering hole, the area is known for the ‘Big Five’ plus its regular leopard sightings. A stay here enables guests to see the stars of the Simbambili Leopard Project, an online journal of the life of three leopards: Saseke (the beautiful one), Mafufenyane (the angry one) and Nyaleti (the star) in their natural habitat. But it is the size and style of this small camp that makes it a must for any romantic at heart. Just eight suites, beautiful in their simplicity, mean a maximum headcount of 16 at any one time. The Amani African Spa rounds off this unique safari experience. Amani means ‘peaceful’ in Kiswahili, and it certainly lives up to its name.
The treatments use products created from plant extracts and they guarantee to refresh, revitalise
and energise. The whole Simbambili experience is a spiritual journey into the very best of Africa.

Day 6 - 8 |
Today you will be transferred to Camp Jubulani. This small, exclusive camp in the middle of the Kapama Private Game Reserve is the place to experience elephant-back safaris and unique night rides as well as game drives and visits to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre. A hanging bridge connects the open plan, decked lounge and dining room to the six luxury suites, which all have a stone tub, outdoor glass-enclosed shower, lounge with fireplace and a private plunge pool. Small groups, families or those wanting privacy should book the new Zindoga Villa, a self-contained house with two double rooms with their own plunge pools and a children’s room. Post-safari, there’s a spa, gym and amazing food to keep you happy.

Day 9 - 11 |
Today you will be transferred to Royal Malewane for your 3 night stay. Set in 13,000 hectares deep in the African bush, Royal Malewane is hard to beat for its combination of exceptional game-viewing and no-expensespared attitude. This is the beating heart of Africa, a vast wilderness home to lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and black and white rhino. There are open
Land Rover safaris; guided walking tours and even the dining area overlooks a large watering hole. Additional activities include horse riding safaris, hot air balloon flights and trips to the wildlife rehabilitation centre. But what Royal Malewane excels at is luxury (with a capital ‘L’). The six suites are all linked to the main camp by elevated walkways and come with canopied king-sized beds, extravagant bathrooms featuring Victorian baths and wooden decks complete with rim-flow pools. Families can stay in the palatial Royal Suites, which sleep four and boast their own butler and chef,
or the stunning six-bedroom Africa House, one of Africa’s most beautiful bush villas. The camp is topped off by one of the best safari spas in the business, with treatments inspired by African rituals using indigenous oils and traditional ingredients. Surrounded by open bush, get wrapped, rubbed and scrubbed under the gaze of a passing antelope. Oh, and those wishing to arrive incognito may request the use of a helicopter or private jet.
